A Mall or City?!

One of our stops on our 30 day tour is Minneapolis, yes because we will get to see some family but also because one of the largest malls in the United States, the Mall of America, is located in this wonderful city. Now, who do you think decided on Minneapolis – Mike or Crystle? I’ll give you one guess! I’ve spent time looking on their website and the site alone is overwhelming. I would imagine the mall itself is downright scary, especially for most men! Some quick facts – amazingly, it is over a half a mile around one level of the monstrous building, 32 boeing 747 planes could fit inside and for those NY Yankee fans, 7 stadiums could fit! The Mall of America is a one stop shop for entertainment, shopping, tourist attractions, theaters and dining. Whatever you favor, you will mostly likely find it. I dare you to look at the website and suggest what we should do and see at the mall considering the options we have and the amount of time it would take to spend in each store and attraction – 86 hours!

  1. Aunt MB

It is an awesome place – Hint they have more than one of the same store…..Put Mike on a roller coaster while you shop:)

  2. I used to live in Minneapolis, and it is one of my favorite cities, second only to Helsinki! While the MoA is a great one-stop-shop, I encourage you to get out and explore the city, but first I would recommend the Underwater Adventure in the basement of the mall. It’s great! Now, hop on the LightRail and head downtown where you can get a great meal at Hell’s Kitchen, Punch Pizza, or Buca di Beppo. The Gay 90′s is great fun, as well as Comedy Sportz in Uptown, or you could catch a Twins game at Target Field. I could go on, and on, but instead I’ll direct you to a good Mpls blog… stuffaboutminneapolis.tumblr.com
    Have a great time!
